As a playful section of Cinema Reloaded, the IFFR is compiling a full-length programme with a selection of festival trailers and short films that have often been made by renowned auteurs from modern cinema on commission from prominent film festivals. The active role that festivals play in film production is no longer limited to trailers and leaders. In the context of anniversaries or special projects, longer independent films are being produced; in the changing film climate, festivals are even making their own content. One of the most prominent projects in this field is the Jeonju Digital Project: as an example, we show the brilliant Influenza by Bong Joon-Ho.
