The 400 Million   Vi-2010

A partisan documentary film on the Chinese resistance against Japan. A classic of world cinema.

A partisan piece of documentary cinema on the Chinese resistance against Japan, featuring scenes from one of the few battles that actually halted - momentarily - the Imperial Army’s advance. Although the film was made under Kuomintang 'supervision', Ivens was able to obtain and include some footage of the Eighth Route Army.
