Hubert can get a job in the countryside. What looked simple, at first sight, turns out to be very complex.
The young Hubert (the maker himself) travels with his wife Christine to the countryside, where he can get an attractive job. The landscape looks empty, but various parties have major interests, although they are difficult to fathom. In a fresh combination of drama, activism and dance-film-without-music, megalomania and protest come together under a pale sky. The gestures speak volumes, but is anyone listening?
