Emmett MALLOY (United States), is co-founder of Brushfire Records and the surf film collective Woodshed Films. Together with Johnson and nephew Chris Malloy he made his debut as a film maker with Thicker than Water (2000), a documentary that records the trio's love for surfing. With his brother Brendan, Malloy made music videos for (among others) The Shins, Black Eyed Peas, Ben Harper, N.E.R.D. and Metallica.
