Rona MARK grew up in the industrial city of Pittsburgh, which she fled in 1988 to study literature and history in Jerusalem. Back in her homeland, she attended a film directing course at Columbia University. Her short films won her several awards and her feature debut, Strange Girls, was a festival darling. The Crab is her second feature.
