SEA Eyes

For the IFFR's 2005 edition, programmer Gertjan Zuilhof has curated the thematic programme section S.E.A. Eyes on the young and upcoming generation of independent filmmakers in the South East Asian region.

Like he did last year for his Homefront USA programme, Zuilhof publishes a weblog with notes, thoughts and observations on filmmakers currently active in the Southeast Asian cinema hotspots.

IFFR 2005 also presents a follow up on the 2004 programme section with films reflecting on the current American social and political situation titled 'PS Homefront USA'. (read Gertjan Zuilhof's 2004 Homefront USA weblog here)

The S.E.A. Eyes weblog was published also in Dutch cinema monthly magazine Skrien.
