Kevin Jerome EVERSON (1965, Mansfield, Verenigde Staten) studeerde beeldende kunst aan de universiteiten van Ohio en Akron. Hij is kunstenaar en maker van talrijke korte en vijf lange films over de arbeiderscultuur van zwarte Amerikanen en andere mensen van Afrikaanse afkomst. In 2006 werd Everson door Filmmaker Magazine uitgeroepen tot een van de 25 belangrijkste nieuwe gezichten binnen de onafhankelijke cinema.
