The Film Office facilitates contacts between representatives of films in the official programme, festival programmers and international buyers present at the festival.

Together with IFFR's Programme department, the Film Office ensures that distributors and buyers are fully informed about and able to view the newly completed films in the festival programme, and pursue to enhance the potential for film acquisitions by animating contacts between buyers and filmmakers or producers who represent a film in the festival selection.

As part of the Film Office’s services, filmmakers are encouraged to take one-on-one consultancy meetings with the Industry consultants during the festival. The Film Office is also the first point of contact for the Press & Industry Screenings and the Video Library – it distributes all relevant film and contact data to distributors, sales agents and producers worldwide. During the festival, industry guests are welcome to use the fully digitized Video Library to view festival titles.
Upon request, attendance reports of the Press and Industry Screenings and the Video Library will be made available to the films’ rights holders within 24 hours of the screenings.

Wi-fi access is available throughout 'de Doelen' building. In the Willem Burger Foyer, you can use computers to check your email. More restricted work spaces can be found on the fourth floor of 'de Doelen'.

The Film Office is represented by Nikolas Montaldi and Myrthe Terpstra together with our consultants.

During the festival, the Film Office organises the daily Industry expert talks and debates with international guests, as well as network gatherings for all attending film professionals to animate connections.
The Rights List, sent out several times prior to the festival and available during the festival, contains details about all feature-length films not currently represented by an international sales agent.
The Distributor Letter lists the complete festival line-up of feature-length films (60 minutes or longer) both fiction and documentary. The list includes sales contacts, rights information and premiere status.
