Kubelka strips the images down to their black-and-white essentials, to create the ultimate abstract film choreography.
Only certain predetermined shot lenghts are used. The visual material in the film is combined according to certain rules and there is a consistent alternation of positive and negative. Originally commissioned as a commercial, Adebar became Kubelka’s first ‘metric’ film.
