Leïla Kilani

Leïla KILANI (1970, Casablanca, Morocco) worked as a freelance journalist from 1997 to 1999, when she made the switch to filmmaking. She has made documentaries on the lives of immigrants in the harbour town of Tangier, and on the repressive regime of the Moroccan king Hassan II. On the Plank is her feature début.
