LIEW Seng Tat (1979, Malaysia) by his own account grew up amidst plenty of love, lots of laughter and frequent life-threatening family feuds involving kitchen knives. Liew graduated from the Multimedia University in Cyberjaya, the Silicon Valley of Malaysia. He majored in 3D animation, but after a few short animations, he started focusing on live action. His feature debut Flower in the Pocket won a Tiger Award in 2008.
